Technical Couriers
Courier Systems operates a team of technically trained couriers specialising in the urgent delivery of replacement parts for business machines. They are trained to swap parts out, perform diagnostic tests, configure software and work with client engineers.
There are 4 basic levels of technical ability. Levels 3 and 4 are customer specific and are often undertaken with a view to support a particular project.
Level One
- Exchange of common computer peripherals
- Basic operator level diagnostics
- Technical communication of problem symptoms
- Simple configuration under guidance
Level Two
- On site basic diagnosis
- Installation of peripherals requiring configuration
- Work requiring a wider understanding of computer technology, e.g. server environment
Level Three
- Standard level internal work
- e.g. memory upgrade, swapping drives or cards,configuration work
Level Four
- Higher level internal work
- e.g. installing mother boards, installing software, configuration work
